My Favorite Cartoon! V The Simpsons Watching a hilarious cartoon on television may seem like the most relaxed thing in the world. However, ! SS The Simpsons!" is not only a stupid funny cartoon to keep us laughing for joy but also a clever TV program mixed up with irreverence and slightly twisted morality. I! |m not saying that how much influence this show can bring to our reality. But I think it! yens very well written.

Also it constantly reflects and spoofs our society. The whole story takes place in a mythical town of Springfield in America. Just like an ordinary American family. Homer Simpson, 36 years old, is a safety inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and also a dimwitted father. His wife Marge, 34 years old, is a homemaker with a real high and weird hairdo. Homer dislike his boss as most people do and he! |s always interested in finding a way to get out of working.

And Marge is the loving mother who cares for her three precious children and always looks out for them. She! |s also very proud of her husband, Homer, but somehow she! |s flirted briefly with a number of career ranging from police officer to anti-violence activist. Their three little lovely children are Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. Mostly, Bart is an underachiever and troublemaker. He did lots of childish tricks and never does well at school. But he! |s not really that bad like a juvenile delinquent.

Once He spotted and named a deadly comet that nearly destroyed his town, and almost snagged the role of Fallout Boy in the Radioactive Man movie. And don! |t forget he got a role model for himself, Krusty the Clown, a smoker and a drinker! K As for Lisa, She is the studious schoolgirl. Even though she! |s only 8, she already reads at 14 th grade level. And she is a music lover too, especially her saxophone. She always reminds Bart what he! |s done is wrong and this big brother really looks out for her.

Then, there is Maggie. Maggie has done a lot in her one year of life and never gets any older. She doesn! |t really have much part in this show, except to suck on her pacifier and do something occasionally cute. She! |s wandered the town of Springfield all by herself, and she! |s shot Springfield! |s richest man because he attempted to steal her lollipop. So cute, isn! |t she? Each episode of The Simpsons represents all that is funny about family life. And also it is the supporting characters that give the cartoon depth.

Those regular characters go on and on, and all of them poke fun at some segment of the American population. The Simpsons have had a significant effect on our society, from introducing new words and concepts of the generation. And check out the whole merchandising operation from The Simpsons. No wonder it was American! |s most favorite cartoon. If you haven! |t seen The Simpsons ever, you must go check it out and find out how fantastic this show sure is to entertain.
