And I am fully convinced that if the 2008 Olympic Games is to be held in Beijing, it will substantially stimulate the spread of the Olympic spirits among the 400 million Chinese youth. On the other hand, the bid awakes our deep wish to know about the world and to be known by the world, thus plunge people into an irresistible desire to master English and to be more cosmopolitan.
