Cheer Carwash It worked! We finally scheduled a fundraising carwash! It will be held on July 5th (the day before camp) from 10 am till 2 pm. We hope everyone will be able to be there! This is a big deal, and we'd love you to invite your parents and siblings to help out with the car washing.

Everyone is going to need to bring stuff to help out: . Soap. Towels (as many as you can bring). Sponges.

Car washing mitts. Buckets. Anything you have at home you use to wash cars Its only four hours, so we hope everyone will be able to make it the whole time. Sam's Club will provide the water, and we just have to set a price, make signs, get people to come, and watch the dough roll in. Everyone can look forward to this as a very uniting and fun experience before camp. There will be more info to come, but we hope to see everyone there!

I will be flying into Edinburgh and from there I will be traveling to Glasgow, Aberdeen, and finally Inverness.

These four cities are located in Western Europe in the northern portion of the British Isles and have a marine west coast climate. Edinburgh is located at 56 N, 31/2 E, Glasgow is located at 54 n, 41/4 E, Aberdeen is located at 57 N, 20 E, and Inverness is located at 57 N, 4 E. From Racine I traveled 3678 miles to Edinburgh. From Edinburgh I traveled 49 miles by taxi to Glasgow. From Glasgow I traveled 62 miles by taxi to Aberdeen. From Aberdeen I traveled 38 miles by taxi to Inverness. During my trip to Scotland most of the time I will be wearing a long sleeve shirt and pants but one of the days im here im going to where traditional Scottish clothing like a tartan or plaid kilt.

Kilts are like skirts. Tartans have distinctive checkerboard patterns in a variety of colors and designs so you can tell what family or group someone is in. While I am in Edinburgh I will be going to the Coal highland games this is a major event where traditional games are played. There are also a lot of public celebrations and parades. After my stay in Edinburgh I will go to Glasgow. During my stay in Glasgow I will go and see the famous Scottish jewels at the Scottish General Assembly Hall.

I will also go see one of the many parades Glasgow has daily to celebrate numerous occasions. Once I leave Glasgow I will be going to Aberdeen. When I get to Aberdeen I will go fishing at the northeast fishing center. While im in Aberdeen I will be going fishing one day and then I am going to visit the maritime oil industries primary service center.

That is the place where most of the oil in Scotland is sent to be treated. The last stop in my trip will be Inverness. While im in Inverness I will be visiting the city chambers in George square. I will also be visiting the Inverness statue park that is where all of the famous people of Inverness or good citizens get statues when they die for the remembrance. There are all sizes of statues in the park.

During my trip to Scotland I bought a lot of souvenirs because I like to shop. I bought a tartan for everyone I know because I thought that they looked funny on people. I also bought little mine raters of all the buildings I visited so I can remember where I went besides looking at pictures.
