Studies have shown that only 20% of the intelligence required for success is IQ. Emotional-management plays a very vital role in today's corporate success. Reading constructive and destructive emotional signals within one empowers one to do the right things in life. Sensitivity to these signal increases when one operates from Universal Consciousness (understanding of the natural mechanics and law of the universe), thus increasing one's EQ.

Many organizational issues, such as poor communication, leadership, customer service, lack of commitment and cooperation, etc are effects due to lack of EQ, emotional Intelligence. There are 5 stages of personal, interpersonal and organization competencies: Stage 1: Knowing your inner reality Stage 2: Influencing your inner reality Stage 3: Understanding others inner reality Stage 4: Influencing others inner reality Stage 5; Influencing external reality. Enhancing the above five success competencies required EQ development and its should be the most important focus of our life training. Practicing the five levels is and art of living that one should continuously improve on in order to have a successful life.

When an employee is gradually and systematically trained on these competencies he or she will be able to play all roles excellently. Complexity of life and expectation to perform has increased in recent times. This has lead to employees being monopolized by stress. It is evident today that tension at every level of the hierarchy and bitter experience at work has increased tremendously in many organizations in the last ten years or so. The underlying emotional issues become the organizational viruses that make the formulated corporate values dysfunctional. The corporate values will then become just a white elephant on the wall.

People are not able to think rationally and creatively. Relationship suffers thus affecting teamwork and harmony at work place. This has given to the emphasis on stress management and EQ enhancement training which ahs become more and more important in today's corporate world.
