1) What forces are motivating Giddings & Lewis's interest in Cross Trecker? There were several motivating factors for Giddings & Lewis's interest in Cross Trecker. The US Machine Tool Industry was undergoing significant changes in the markets that Giddings & Lewis had dominated for several years.
