Similarities Both of the pieces are made of wood. They are displayed with their children on their laps. Thay are both of because that are seated. In addition that both have breast and belly buttons. They also both have recognizable facial features. Contrast In looking at the piece you notice that the Kungo mother has more human features than the Senufo who has more exaggerated features like her jaw and her breast.
In addition the Kungo mother has a patina. The Kungo mothers eyes are open and the Senufo eyes are closed. The Senufo child is eating and the Kungo child is not. The Senufo child is more abstract coma pred to the more realistic Kungo child. Another noticeable differance is the scarification on the Senufo mother's face.

Their was only one terracotta work. In this sculpture the artist displays the face with exaggerated proportions such as the long jaw, precise details of the eyelids and eyebrows and the scarification on his cheeks. Another noticeable feature is the teeth inside of the parted lips. 10. I enjoyed the gallery however there is good and bad in every experience. The following were the negative aspects: 1) The lighting in the gallery was dark and dull which took away from the coloring.
2) The is too small and I think the works should have been a little more spread apart. 3) I didn't like the cases it prevented you from seeing details of the sculptures. The following are the positive aspects: 1) Some of the lighting for the works on the wall allowed the sculpture to come to life with the shadows on the wall. 2) I liked that they mixed the different cultural pieces together. 3) I like the video even though it showed some scene from class were in the gallery it was till a nice addition.
