The artists that were trying to rise at this time had recognise this obsession; and knowing that their art will not be recognise as art at that point in time tried to incorporate the styles into their own work but were cast aside for being fakes and copies. Although it was not just the arts; where obsession just caught artists but the architects were also induced. The western architects now with its new "senses of freshness of individual observation that opened the way to Gothic style". (1989: 27).
