A career in nursing offers limitless opportunities as it spans the spectrum from general practice to pediatrics, from surgery to psychiatry, etc. I think about selecting nursing as a career as I consider that nursing embraces my skills and talents and relates to my career interests. To be a professional nurse means to be a professional in everything you do. The nurses work not only in the hospitals or clinics. The main aim of being a nurse is to provide the patients with professional assistance and emotional and physical care to the sick.

The nurse promotes health through additional health care activities such as researches, training programs, health education, and patient consultations, to mention a few. A position of nurse requires various qualities and skills including basic computational skills, knowledge of computer, diagnostics, nutrition, personal care skills, patient safety, communications and psychology. The nurse should be able to combine the art of carrying with the science of health care as well as the commitment to easing patient's sufferings and ability to solve emergency situations and I consider that studying in nursing school will help me a lot. Nursing practice is in great demand in a wide range of health care settings such as nursing homes, industry, hospitals, military, schools, private homes, community facilities, etc.

As far as the requirements and standards for nursing license and practice are established by the state nurse practice acts, the nurse should receive a proper education. Nursing school will be a significant step on a hard road to make my dream true. My plans and aspirations for future consist of several aspects. First of all, my successful experience in a nursing school will help me to become a Registered Nurse. I'll take courses in chemistry, microbiology, anatomy, nutrition, physiology, and psychology, to mention a few. Studying in a Nursing School will enhance my personal leadership characteristics and will give me a supervised clinical experience in health care facilities.

After graduating from a state-approved Nursing School, I plan to pass the NCLEX-RN licensing exam and to become a Registered Nurse. As far as the majority of employees require Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, I will continue my education in order to complete Baccalaureate Registered Nurse Program and to become a BNS. I consider that Baccalaureate Registered Nurse Program will give me a competitive advantage in my future career as a qualified BSN nurse discovers a range of new educational opportunities and career paths. The Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing will include various courses such as pediatrics, community health nursing, adult acute and chronic disease, psychiatric and mental health, maternal and child health and other health care related programs..
