Act 3 is based after the semi-finals in the Clubs board room. Jock is sitting on a chair at the head of the table with a faint smile on the side of his face. Gerry enters Gerry: What was that!? I thought they had Geoff on side, did you see him out there? He was standing there laughing at god knows what. The ball hit him and he look down and stared at it.

He lost the game for us Jock. Jock: Quiet down, you wanna get rid of Laurie as much as I do don't you, well its all been taken care of. Laurie didn't make the finals, the committee will have no problem with giving him the boot now. Gerry: WHAT! what the hell did you do Jock slipped some drugs in to Geoff's water, your gonna get sent to jail for this and I've got nothing to do...

Jock: Gerry, Geoff and I came to an agreement that if he can help me to get rid of Laurie then I will give him the payment he de servers and he will have is long awaited change in career. I originally offered him captain but he said he would rather have a payout and leave Gerry: So you paid Geoff to smoke some of his marijuana and lose us the semi-finals. Jock you are president now, you cant go about things like this. Laurie is questioning Geoff now about what the hell he was doing. He is not going to take lightly and wont be finished with him until he has squeezed every inch of information out of him. Jock: Geoff wont say anything, and if you keep it to yourself we will be getting our self's a new coach.

Gerry: I disagree with what you have done Jock, but I will not tell anyone. Jock: Good, well I'm going to get a drink at the bar and Ill meet you back here later today along with the rest of the committee to talk about Laurie's job. Jock leaves the room shortly followed by Laurie entering Laurie: Well that's one less player. I should of got rid of him after that third game.

I don't know what his problem is nor do I care anymore. How dare he turn up like that to the semi-finials. I saw it in his eyes, I shouldn't of even put him on the field. (Pause) This better not be some new bright secret plan to get rid of me Gerry. Geoff was holding something back Gerry: Laurie I know you think I have had it in for you since the day Ted got me the administrator job but you " re a good coach and it was sad to see you lose that game when they have been playing so good for the last few. Laurie: What is it Gerry?!

You are sounding a lot the same as when you forced Ted to resign. Why cant you say things outright? From the front you are this nice friendly man that is always supportive but as soon as you turn your back you are nothing but a dirty weasel Gerry: I had nothing to do with Geoff and I didn't even know what happened until just now Laurie: WHAT HAPPENED GERRY! Gerry: Geoff has got back in to his drugs again Laurie: I'm not stupid Gerry of course in knew that, I'm trying to find out why.

He did not just do it today because he was looking for some fun. There was a reason behind it... Gerry: Well that reason had nothing to do with me okay, Jock payed Geoff to smoke his drug before the game... Laurie: Well that's great isn't it, not only has he stopped me from buy players so that I cant show what a good job I could do but he also pays the only player that has been bought to smoke pot before the greatest game of my coaching career Gerry: That's why I told you Laurie and that's why I don't think he should be president of the club. I don't like his ways as much as you do now Laurie. The committee will believe me over Jock, and after an incident like that they will have no reason not to get rid of him.

So your not interested in keeping Geoff? Laurie: No way, I don't care if he was payed a million dollars to go and do that. He is nothing but selfish, he doesn't care one bit of this clubs history. He is just after some money, even if he gets it by doing things like that.

Not that it matters if we loose him anyway when we get a new president and start buying some more players this club is going to be at its finest..
