I stood yesterday afternoon engaged in the immense time consuming game of baseball. I stood there contemplating on what ideas, mainly about baseball, were being distorted and confused. Then it hit me... There is much dissatisfaction in the fact that baseball, besides all other sports, is played at an exceptionally sluggish rate and in most cases might not ever end.

Many spectators see baseball as a boring sport that wastes their time. I mean just imagine what else you could be accomplishing if you weren't sitting at a baseball game relaxing with your family, enjoying a delightful hotdog, on a nice summer day, while watching your favorite team play? Although baseball seems especially appealing to people, there are others who believe that no matter what the situation is, whether it be day or night, summer or winter, preseason or playoffs, baseball will always keep it amazingly leisurely pace and keep its viewers hypnotized by its incredible monotony... It is indeed natural for people to consider from experience that if something seems tedious then it most likely is; but no one ever thinks about the people who essentially recognize the truth about baseball. These people, whether black or white, tall or short, fat or skinny, are the athletes, rich or poor, who play the sport and realistically know the true joys of their sport... There is nothing more common among this world than murmurs and complaints; murmurs, who are most likely the people who think terribly of the sport baseball keep their inexperienced thoughts to themselves instead of expressing them on the behalf of everyone out there who either has or does not have an opinion on the sport of baseball.

Tranquility is commonly associated with inexperienced ideas on something someone has no clue about... The main thought of all this is that it is essentially imperative for someone who has never played baseball and has simply observed it from a far to keep quiet. People who really play baseball should be the only people to express their thoughts, whether good or bad, about the sport that they know everything about... Among all who speak their hatred towards this sport there is a form of jealousy hidden behind it all; having this appalling outlook on baseball constructs these people to perceive baseball as an awful sport; if they scrutinized it in a more pleasant view, more than likely they would by no means think such atrocious things about baseball... From just watching the game of baseball you only see half the picture, but by playing the game of baseball you see its entirety.

It is true that if you " ve played the game you may see it as boring; football may intercept the swiftest sport; but if you have never played baseball before in your life you have absolutely no room whatsoever to offer your outlook on how you feel about baseball.
