Better Laws And A More Caring Government example essay topic

GUN CONTROL IN THE 90'S Limits on fire arms these days are not near as good as they could be! The government should make more laws so that children under the age of 21 can't even get hold of a gun. These days it's really easy for just anyone to get a gun no matter how old they are. There is always a way through friends, family, or people on the street.

Thats really sad and dangerous. I think that the government could prevent things like Columbine and the recent Jewish Church shooting. It might take a lot longer to get the guns to the people who can responsibly take care of them, but I'd be willing to wait if I were buying a gun. I would hope the rest of America would be willing to make that small sacrifice to help ensure safety in our schools. I know for the first couple of months after the Columbine shooting I was terrified to go to school. I still have those thoughts in the back of my mind.

A lot of students do. Here's what I think could help: 1) If the government would do background checks on all people who want to purchase guns BEFORE they give the gun to that person. 2) If they would have areas (such as special buildings) to keep the guns in, to prevent people taking them home and children getting a hold of them or to prevent disasters. 3) If they would make better laws to protect the well being of people no matter where they are.

4) If they would have more security in school and in the public. In the future, I would want my children to have more protection and better laws than I had while I was young. I don't want my children to go to school scared that they are going to get shot, hurt, or killed at school. I would hope that you right now want that security for your children. I can only hope for these laws to be made because I'm to young to make them or vote them in. I hope the people who can make them and vote them in will do so, it would make the world of today be better for tomorrow.

Most people want the world to be better for their children than it was for them it has happened before and I hope it will happen again. In conclusion, better laws need to be made to help our childe rn live a happier and safer life. If the government would take the time to care about it's people and their safety, a lot could be prevented and many lives would be saved. If the congress wasn't so afraid of losing their funding from the National Rifle Association, they could actually pass some laws against getting guns so easily. I hope that by the year two thousand and five, that there will be better laws and a more caring government. The world would be a much better place without hate and violence.

Hate and violence would be harder to get rid of than guns! The government and congress should get over the funding's they get and care about the people who they are supposed to be protecting. That concludes my paper on gun control.
