In the movie, The Gods Must Be Crazy, showed a clash of two diffrent cultures. The two cultures are very close together but nothing alike. Two elements of culture that cause the clash between the primitive society and the advanced society, were technology and religion. Technology is the inventions that improve everyday life. The tools that a culture has reflects the advancement of culture. Primitive had simple or crude technology, and the advanced society has industrialized technology.

A variable of technology were there is a big difference between the Bushman people and the city people is transportation. The Bushman people walk to get everywhere. Weather it to get food, water, new shelter they dont have modern day technology. The city people use cars, subway, jets, airplanes, and as well walk, but we have more advanced ways to travel besides foot. To survive you need, water, food, air and shelter. The Bushman people use their surroundings to survive.

Wood and sticks are used for many things. The Bushman used sticks to get food. To make bow and arrows, to make food, to build shelter and much more. The city people would have trouble just using the stuff around them. They depend on other people and sources. To get food they use markets, and stores.

For shelter they use bricks, wood and modern day stuff. For protection against, Terrorists, and against groups or people endangering you, the Bushman people used bow and arrows. The modern day city people, have a Government, and they use bombs, guns, knifes. The city people have to deal with war, and Terrorist evading and taking lifes of people.

The Bushman people do not have to deal with war, or people threatening its peoples lifes. Both of these cultures are so close together but one group depends on the land and the other depends on other people. Religion, helps people answer basic questions about what they dont understand and the meaning of life. You learn religion from your friends, family, and from school. The Bushman people are polytheism or believe in many Gods. The City people are monotheism or believe in one God.

The Bushman people believe in good spirits and evil spirits. When the Coca bottle first came to the Bushman village they thanked the good spirits for giving them such a wonderful thing. But then it started to cause chaos for there village, there was constinitly a fight over the bottle. A thing they got along without just fine was something that always was needed by each person. The way the city people develope and show their religion is holidays and in going to church. The Bushman society and the Civilized society are very diffrent.

They are so close geogrphicly yet they dont have much in common for characteristic about how they live.
