Statement of Purpose I have an aim to achieve a great height in field of business. As I belong to a business class family I have experienced the growth, the stability and declination of business since my teenage. I liked my family members discussing about the strategies and policies of business and if I had some suggestions it was welcomed and in due course I always felt confident and tried to come up with new ideas. I have done B. Tech in computer Science & after completing my graduation in-spite of pursuing my father's business, I moved into IT industry and have been working now from last 5 years.

The main purpose of not joining my father's business being that I always want to do things on my own & 5 years back I was not confident of my ability to run a business. Now, after gaining experience of how to work and how to commute with different people. I think that now I am prepared for pursuing the aim of my life. But, I want to do it in a right way that is first gaining some experience in the field and I think doing MBA from a reputed school is going to be my first step to build up the a solid foundation of my aim. In last 5 years, I worked in different regions of India as well as abroad. In the process, I have gained knowledge as far as IT industry goes.

Only in the 3rd year of my Job, I was leading a project in " ". While in project, the biggest problem that I faced was from my colleague (in US). He ignored my work & some times even tried to proved me wrong but the end of the project was fruitful as I was able to prove to all that the software design which I was following is better & right. The biggest achievement I would say is the second time when I applied to the same company, they welcomed me and gave me the job without even taking an Interview in-spite of the fact that software market was quite down at that time & even the company was facing some problems. In between, I worked in a software company in Australia. There I joined as a Software Engineer but then I was given a choice to change my field from Developing software to Configuring & packaging the software using a tool that was alien to me.

The manager who was working on the tool gave me a basic session on how to use the tool for 1 week and after that the complete configuration was left on me. It included, talking to software team, testing team, talking to manager & architects for any new changes and giving deadlines to the software teams so as to receive the code from the team to be submitted to the Client. The new role some times gave me tough task too one of which was giving deadlines to my Project leader (who headed me when I was doing development). It was quite an achievement on my side that in just 3 months, I changed the complete configuration process & made it thoroughly automated full of GUI & very easy for every body to use. I do have some diversified interest in other fields too like reading books, which includes reading about different cultures & religion. I some times write poetry too & 4 of my poems have been listed on web Its been submitted on the web using my nick name " ".

I am passionate about driving fast cars & while I was in Australia, I drove the whole New South Wales countryside and while doing so I developed a new hobby of getting photographs. I sent 1 of the photograph to Kodak using there web site and they listed that photo on there site for 1 month as one of the beautiful photographs in that month. As I mentioned earlier, I always have admired the business field & I have keen interest in Marketing field. I decided to do MBA in order to improve my personality and work skill. However, just from simple observation, I have discovered that an MBA provides a distinct advantage over those without. There is an analytical nature inherent to MBA's which I believe is duplicable only by committing two years to the academic study of business.

There are many colleges in India who can provide me this Degree, but when I went through their syllabus their course structure is not very satisfactory. More over, doing MBA from a different country is going to help me in acquiring vast knowledge as I can always learn about India market when I start working. I am confident that the University will equip me with comprehensive and rigorous professional training and I would be benefited throughout my whole life, as it would help me to achieve my long-term career goal. The skills and knowledge I would receive will surely change my way of working towards a particular aim. And I would be among one of those professional who are admired by all & some times become the ideal.
