Business Management example essay topic

Ever since I was a young kid, I always wanted to do something in the business field. My biggest influence for wanting to do this would be my father. He is an executive sales representative for a major insurance company. I hope to as successful as he is in life. Growing up, he taught me many things about business. This is the main reason why I chose my major in college to be business management.

Business Management will enable me to acquire major contacts, have a great salary, and improve my personal and social skills. First off, majoring in Business Management will help me tremendously to establish numerous contacts in the business world. Some advantages of making many new friends that would share a similar interest with me would be: I would be invited to different business functions with these people and if I ever needed any help, I know which people would be more than happy to assist me. Also, it would give me the ability to make contacts with certain people who have some authority in the company. By doing this, there is always room for improvement in job positions. If I ever made a mistake on something or could not come in one day, these people would understand and forgive me for not coming in or making a mistake and forget about it.

Secondly, by getting my degree in Business management, a very good salary is something that I am looking forward to. By making a great salary, I would spend it the way that I wanted to and buy many nice, top of the line things. A new house would most likely be the first thing bought. Also, I would love to purchase a lot of nice things for my family and a new car for myself because I want my family to have the best and I will give them the best. By having a great salary I would be able to do lots of the things that I cannot afford to do right now. Some of the things that I would do with this money would be to establish some sort of credit and invest part of it in the stock market.

I would also love to travel to more exotic places around the world and eat at the more upscale restaurants frequently. Besides that, by majoring in Business Management, my personal and social skills would greatly improve because of dealing with people everyday. One thing about me is that I need to be around people with my career because that is how I function everyday. I have noticed that being around people all the time has really improved my social skills.

Also, my personal skills have improved too. I would feel a lot better about myself and know that I am more confident. I will also learn how to deal with awkward situations when I get in them, and how to get out of them. Finally, acquiring major contacts, having a great salary, and improving my personal and social skills are just a few things that I will gain from majoring in Business Management. I have noticed already in my life how having contacts in the business will get me places.

And my personal and social skills have already started to improve.
