In this paper, we refer to the case of a jazz musician that lost his fingers in a building construction, where he worked illegal. The laws of in migration, by other side, force slavian and east workers to accept any work conditions to find a job and therefore get an authorization to stay in the country. In the case of this paper, the musician left Prague to work in Lisbon, but didn't find, as usual, any job as musician, so he went to the building industry.
