When I think of myself I think of success & where I am going to be in the next couple of years. The first thing that comes to mind is to own my own daycare. I have always been devoted to helping children and assisting their parents with the growing process while they are away at work. When children are dropped off by their parent or legal guardian they are expected to be picked up in the same condition. I believe I can gain a special trust with the parents as well as educate their children for the fu ture. With my determination and mind set on one goal I can definitely accomplish anything.

Opening my own daycare I would like to set a foundation for academic skills, set policies & procedures, and also provides a safe and fun filled environment. This will also open many opportunities in the future to express myself with children. For once you can be at rest with your child's care while you " re at work. Parents have an opportunity to have the child care of their approval. With a safe daycare you never have to worry again about a hostile environment, ungodly language, or child abuse or neglect. Your children will experience play & learning like never before.

Parents will experience freedom, while feeling so involved in their child's daycare. My goal is to provide all of the children in the daycare, a clean, safe, comfortable, loving, home-like environment, where they can play and learn. Respect toward self, others and the environment will be emphasized. The most important priority is to have FUN! Children today are progressing quickly and greatly. They are becoming more intoned with there surroundings at a young age.

I want to help these children progress positively by teaching them the great essentials of life such as good motor skills. First they need a general learning ability such as good table manors, form friendships with others, and build a positive self -image. Verbal Ability is very important as well. Many children now don't know how to talk properly because they weren't taught well when they were younger.

Great parenting skills always start in the home as we work with the children at school they should be worked with when at home. The fundamentals of teaching always consist of helping your child do better for him / her. If you want your daycare to be a success, you will need to learn about things such as business licenses, getting customers, setting policies, taxes, and more. When owning your own daycare I believe you should always set policies and procedures. Not only would I need a daily schedule, which will provide the children and staff a certain curriculum to follow so that no one is thrown off. Establishing my own daily schedule I can have a routine that is mandatory and will always be followed. Manage a good cash flow so that I can earn a potential income of up to $40,000 a year.

I would make sure to have a strict payment policy so that I am not either taken advantage of or loose money. I will also enforce a detailed activity planner. From the time we open to the time we close, know what we will be doing with the kids hourly. I would Schedule meals, playtime, story time, outdoor play and naps daily.

Kids are happier and you know what to expect (but with infants none of these apply! ). A daily routine can consist of a warm greeting, early devotions where the children recite the children's confession for school, the pledge to the flag, and other songs the children may sing everyday. Children will read on a daily basis as well as take naps so that they are not overworked. Children also like to run wild so of course they are entitled to both outside and inside free time play. When they are picked up the parents as well as leaving children receive a warm good-bye greeting.

There are lots of responsibilities when owning your own daycare you want to be able to teach the children, but that can be anywhere you must have a safe and fun- filled environment. I want to make sure my parents are happy and that I have their trust with there children. If my parents don't trust me with there children than I'm not producing a good business because the parents suggestions and opines are very important. Without them then it's no use in having a business they are what make it. The children should be able to act wild and crazy and still be safe with there surroundings. There also should be a professional appearance for your business.

The state is welcome to come in and check the place out at any time and when they do this you are to be on point. Health and safety issues are a first this consist of Child Safety gates, caps on electrical outlets, first aid kit. Fire exit plan and alternative route so that in case of a fire the children and staff know exactly what to do. Clean safe play area so that there is enough space for a number of children to play in.

Healthy meals and snacks are a must. Children's health comes first when they eat everyday also all staff needs a first aid kit in their classroom. All staff should be CPR certified in case of emergency. Learning all of this can take a lot of time, not to mention all of the time it will take to create the forms and documents to create a professional appearance for your new business.
