Cinderella Perfect For The Ball example essay topic
As a young woman, Cinderella remains a kind and good-hearted person. She is pretty; she knows what she is doing, she keeps a positive outlook with the help of her animal friends: the chatty mice and chirping birds. Even though mice or regular birds don't talk in real life they portrayed it as a symbol of a good inside of the animal. There was no tokenism in this movie, Humans, animals, materials every thing was involved in it. There are different versions of this film and every film has a different ending to it. Despite all that has happened to her she still dreams of the day when she will find love and happiness once again.
She thinks that her dream might come true when she listens that all the single maidens in the kingdom were invitated to a royal ball. Everyone was entitled to come including Cinderella. There was a rumored that the Prince will pick his future bride in the ball. Her mother and her evil sisters dressed up and wanted to go to the ball. However, her bad sisters and mother always use to give her things to do and did not allow her to be the good or the prettiest one. The relationship between Cinderella and the two dishonest stepsisters and the jealous stepmother is awful.
Cinderella was alone in her home, so she needed help to get to the ball. Nevertheless, who would help her? A Fairy Godmother used her magic to make Cinderella perfect for the ball. The fairy godmother turns a pumpkin into a coach, mice into horses, and a rat into a footman, all to escort her to the ball. Her fairy godmother also provides clothes and glass slippers, and warns Cinderella that she must return by midnight. Despite the fact that it is a great fairy tale, a child might get influence by this story and say "well I am a princess as well I need things like Cinderella".
In addition, they might want things right there and then when they see that the fairy mother provided Cinderella with the things she needed to make her look pretty for the ball. Cinderella goes to the ball but at the stroke of midnight, she leaves, dropping one glass slipper behind her. Describe how she was most beautiful, n prince fell in love with her! What does this shows? From there on she goes on with her everyday life, until the prince goes around the kingdom, looking for the woman who dropped her slipper so she can become his bride. Nobody in the kingdom can fit the slipper even her evil sister who hided Cinderella in the room so she cant see the prince.
When Cinderella tried, the shoe on it fitted her, the godmother works her magic again, and gives Cinderella back her beautiful clothes. Cinderella forgives her stepsisters and stepmother, and she and the prince live happily ever after. Describe that how things went well with her, though always its not that way! My favorite characters in the movie were the mice. They are some of Disney's most charming and colorful characters. I also loved the fact that the "bad guys" in this movie were not the typical villains in black.
However, they were their own family who played evil roles in Cinderella's life but she still forgave them. No matter how bad a family member can be they will always stick together sometimes with out even reasoning. I believe family plays a big role in any ones life. If there is a family member, he or she can help you with certain manners like, financially, socially, economically and mentally. Although Cinderella did not have that support from her family, but she received it from the fairy godmother and the cute animals. It also shows that if there is no one there is always God with you.
In Cinderella's case there was a fairy godmother with her. Following r some of the things which i noticed in this movie. First of all the heroine of the story (Cinderella) continues to be treated harmfully by her stepmother and stepsisters. She consistently did all of the housework for them, and they became aggressive the more she worked. However, due to her good nature, she still loved them and did all of the work she got from them without any complains. The positive message in this film was that one could always dream and don't let his dream die always go for it.
On the hand, whites are privileged, although they can buy what ever they want, they can not buy love. Every girl in her world is a princess. Although she will eventually marry one day and live happily ever after, there will always be consequences that a person faces. If I might re-write the script, I would make things the other way around. Despite the fact that this movie was great and lovely, the producers should give an ugly person a chance of being the hero. In almost every movie that I have seen the bad guys are the ugly ones and the good guys are the prettiest and handsome ones.
I don't believe it should just go on the character appearance, if the character is pretty physically doesn't mean that person is the prettiest, nicest one in his behavior and attitude too. Hence, its not necessary that every good looking person would be vs. nice, and vice versa. I think this image of beauty should change.
