The Breakfast Club Everybody has certain type of personality and problems in there life. They also have different ways of dealing with there problems some normal some bazaar. Yet we all are bazaar in certain ways without even knowing it. The way we behave is also categorized or stereotyped into certain groups that almost or never talk to each other but we try so hard to want our group to like us because that's how we where made we like to be liked.

I will be analyzing 5 people and what makes them tick. Andy also known as Spor to has a very athletic personality to him. You can tell also by what he eats he eats like a football player lots and lots of carobs. He loves to compete and has to win. He is also very protective of Clare (Princess). He protects her from bender and his antagonizing.

He is also very unsure of himself like when him and the strange girl where walking he was saying that the only reason he is not suspended because he get treated different because he is strong and fast and it think he doesn't think that's a good reason. Andy has many different stressor's in his life. Everyone thinks he should be the best. In the beginning of the movie his father even tells that he need to shape up or he will blow his ride. That he has to be the best he has to WIN. Even the dean said "I expected more from a varsity letterman".

Another problem is that he can't think for him self that he does everything people tell him to do. He wants his father to respect him and not to be disappointed with him. That's why he got in to the detention in the first place. The way he copes with theses problems by number of things. He uses drugs and tries to duck taped a kid's bun together to please his father. The other way he tries to cope would be by trying to start fights with bender to also please his father.

The emotions that Andy felt there would be compassion for Clare as in a protective kind of way. He protects Clare from bender and the other emotion that he feels would have to be anger toward bender for hurting Clare and to show up to his name that he is a tuff guy. The other emotions that Andy conveys are guilt for the poor kid that he tortured and anger toward his father because he blames his father for his action and because his father wants so much out of him Brian also known as the brain he has a very smart and has li ke a A type personality always blue collar and very stressed out. The kind of person that never does anything wrong. Always trying to fit in as much as he can. He is always very nervous The problems that Brian has would be that he feels inadequate because he couldn't make a lamp.

He has to deal with his parents trying to also push him academically. Like in the being of the movie you could see Brian's mother telling him to study and if he can't to find a way to. The way brain copes with things would have to be academically. He excels academically to compensate with his other faults and when he got a F on the elephant project, in the on thing he was good at, which was school and he fail at it. So that's why he decides to take his own life. The emotions Brian shows are depression toward him self.

Not likening who he wants to be someone else. He also shows ambition. The way he show this is but when he went o smoke with bender and when he tried to be friends with the group. Clare also known as the Princess is the type that you see walking down the hall who everyone wants to be and wants to be friends with. She is a very social person and very rich. The beginning of the movie you see that see was in a BMW and was in trouble because she skipped class to go shopping you can also tell by what she eats for lunch she eats sushi which is in a marble casing with soy sauce.

This girl as perfect as she may appear to be has many stressor's to deal with. One being that she can not have sex because it is like a double bladed sword. On one end if she does do the deed she could be considered a slut if she doesn't she is a prude. No matter which way she sees it she gets stab by peoples views so though out the movie she tries to avoid the entire situation. The other problem would have to that she has to follow what her friends say or she will be "outlasted" by her group. The way she copes is by following what her friends tell her to do and try to avoid issues that may get her to feel embarrassed to upset.

She may also try to cope by anger. Some of the emotions that she showed would have to be a infatuation toward bender. She was intrigued by his attitude toward life and his reaction toward everything the other thing she felt was portably embarrassment toward the group be cause of what she a admitted or from her bizarre act with the lipstick. Allison also known as the Psycho. Allison had many different types of problem she conveys her self to be the type of person people she her as. She really isn't a mental case she just wasn't it to look that way so that no one gets to close.

Like when Andy started to open up to her she just said to GET AWAY. The stressor's that Allison has would have to be. In the begging of the video she was sitting it the back of the car and as she went to the front door the car drove off. So she The away she copes with these problems would be that she pushes everyone away she tries to make her self look so repulsive and must up that no one would want to even talk to her. The emotions she feels in the movie are an infatuation toward Andy and happiness because she actually had someone listen to her.

Now the best of them all Jon Bender. John is the type of guy who doesn't care about one thing but him self. He is a tuff guy out on his own rebel brought up from a dysfunctional home. He spits all people who have it better than him and brings them down to the level he feels everyday. Yet he is also a inspirations if you truly look at john bender you will see person who not only antagonisms but tries to help people in a physiological type of way.

The stressor's that john bender has would have to be his own home life. He is brought up in a dysfunctional violent family and naturally he would acquire the traits. The other stressor would have to be all the people looking down on him like Clare and him trying to keep his reputation up. The why he would cope there are a number of ways. One way that was very obvious would have to be his anger toward people and things like when he finished talking about his family life he flipped out.

The other way he cope which is not so obvious is by keeping his reputation up if he didn't talk back to the dean or get those detention he would look bad and his reputation is all he has. He also tried to cope by using drugs just as Andy does. The emotions that he felt where very different. He felt compassion when e took the blame for all the kids when they got trapped. He also felt fear not knowing what to do when the dean decided to wanted to fight him. And the feeling he felt the most would have to be anger.
