Juanita Weems January 8, 2003 English I The Bahamas was a great place to visit. The cool waters make you feel like you are living in an island paradise. When I hear people driving their cars on the rocky roads it notifies me that company is coming. The enraged blue crab tells you that you better get away fast. To begin with, the cool blue waters of the Bahamas are so beautiful. When your feet touch the hot white sand it feels like burning coals.

The calm blue waters are very pretty to look at. The enraged blue crab warns you to back away. The hotels look very nice. They are equipped with nice beds and very nice pools. The sights in the Bahamas were the most beautiful things in the world. Another example is the waves crashing against the rocks.

At first when you get near the rocks it is a little intimidating, but they sound really soothing when you stay a while. When you hear people having conversations about how nice the water is it makes you want to stay even longer. I like to hear cars driving along the rocky roads because it alarms me that company or potential company may be coming. The sounds are really euphonic in the Bahamas. Additionally to waves, when you touch the easygoing waters it just sends chill up your spine.

You can also feel the mushy sand beneath the cool waters. When you get near pools you feel that slippery type of feeling. (Be careful that you don't fall in the pool)! Sometime when you are in the water you can feel crabs. They may clamp onto your feet!

As one can see, in the Bahamas the white sands can get really hot. The waves crashing can be both scary and calming at the same time. The angry blue crabs can really hurt if they bite you. All of these things I have experienced in the Bahamas will always stay in my mind.
