Day Lindsay example essay topic
To this day Lindsay is still my best friend, she is important to me, because she has shown me what true friendship is. I don't know what I would do without her. We have been through so much. When we were younger nothing could keep us from playing our Barbie's together. We played non-stop for days at a time; Barbie's were our life! As we got older, we grew out of that phase and into the shopping phase.
We would always have our Parents switch off taking turns driving us to the mall so we could shop with what little money we had. Even if it was just to buy a new pair of earrings. We shared everything we had and never kept any secrets from each other. We were inseparable. If I ever had a bad day she was always there to make me feel better, she knew me better then anyone.
I know she would do anything for me and I would do the same. Sure, there were times when we were mad at each other and not speaking. I remember one time when we were about eight years old, Lindsay started hanging out with a group of girls that I didn't really care for. So we stopped talking for about three months. She eventually stopped hanging out with them and we started talking again. That was the longest time we " ve ever been apart.
We always make up sooner or later and it's never awkward between us. As we " ve gotten older times have changed. When I was a senior and Lindsay was a junior, she chose to quit regular Highschool and attend an alternative school. This made it a lot harder to see her. Now that I'm in college, I hardly have any time. Lindsay is engaged and is going to have a baby in May of 2004, so she's pretty busy too.
We only see each other once a week or so and sometimes it's only in passing when we are driving up our street, because we still live across from one another. Even though its different now, I know I can still count on her for anything. She will always be one of my best friends.
