Doc Holliday And Wyatt Earp example essay topic

For This movie review I chose to watch Tombstone. This movie takes place back in time when being a law breaker brought you fame and fortune. In a place where the more you killed, the more respect you earned among other cowboys. Tombstone is about two of the most famous cow herders that there ever was, Doc Holliday, and Wyatt Earp. These two gunslingers participated in arguably the most famous gunfight of all time at the O.K. Corral. Doc Holliday is played by Val Kilmer.

This in my opinion is Val's best movie ever. He makes me believe that he is actually Doc Holliday. From his flashy style, to his viciously smart insults, Val makes you laugh and love him at the same time. At Holliday's side was his best friend Wyatt Earp played by Kurt Russel.

Kurt isn't one of my favorite actors in the world, however; he did quite a nice job in this role as Earp. Wyatt was a tough law biting citizen out of Dodge City, who moves to Tombstone with the intentions of striking gold and becoming rich. He is a righteous man, a man that always does the right thing. On the outside he's a cold, and bitter being, but on the inside full of love and heart. Doc and Wyatt both turn up in Tombstone and begin their friendship again. That friendship becomes even stronger when Wyatt's two brothers are shot by the Cowboys.

The Cowboys were the first organized crime gang in the United States. So in a quest for revenge Wyatt and Doc take the law into their own hands, and create a war among the Cowboys, and the law. Tombstone I would have to say is my favorite movie for many reasons. Mostly it was the acting of Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday that pulled me in to this movie. I also like that it has humor, and a serious story all at the same time. So go and watch this movie right now.

It may not be your favorite but you should still enjoy it because it's very well made movie.
