Emotions which are; shame, embarrassment, pride, guilt, empathy, hate, jealousy, envy, happiness. Also emotions are physical reactions to things that happen to you, if something good happens to you, your happy and excited, if something bad happens to you are sad, upset, frustrated, confused, angry or even guilty. The emotions associated with both physical (and social) survival: the feelings of fear, anxiety, hope and faith. The emotions of belonging and connectedness: feelings of communion, love, empathy, loyalty, nationalism, and hatred of out groups or oneself. Emotions checking the selfish drives of individuals: guilt, fear of rejection and social ostracism, dread of loneliness. Family and friends have shown me emotions and this is where I learnt to experiment my emotions.

First of all, family comes first for showing emotions. For example, you receive the love from your family therefore you show love to others. If you came from a abusive, dysfunctional, angry, drug abused family therefore you may or may not show that hatred to others and become angry and frustrated in yourself and take it out on others and maybe deal with drugs to ease the pain of what has happened to you in your childhood. This may not be the case, you may prove to your family wrong and be a "A" grade student and make a life of your own and this is where you become happy and loyal to yourself and others around you. Lucky for me this has not been the case. I've come from a loving family therefore I can show people outside my family and to my friends that I am a loving, caring, outgoing person who enjoys life and wants to make a life and enjoy it.

My understanding of Emotions is basically everyday life dealing with the human body, mind body and soul. Its what makes us human beings. If we didn't have emotions or felt emotional status in our lives, we would be not be real humans, we might as well be robots and not feel emotional or have any sensation, pleasure, sexual needs..
