Here he started to turn to his studies as well as training to become a teacher in physics and mathematics. In 1901, the year he gained his diploma, he acquired Swiss citizenship and as he saw was unable to find a teaching post, he accepted a position as technical assistant in the Swiss Patent Office (Albert Einstein-Biography). Although his job didn't have to do much with physics, it allowed him time to finish his research and publish his ideas in special journals. In 1903, he married Mileva Magic and later on had two of Einstein's children Hans and Edward (Einstein). Einstein would later on published five separate papers in a journal, the Analysis of Physics.
These papers helped Einstein get a doctrines degree from the University of Zurich as well as developing modern physics and earning him a new reputation. The biggest year of Einstein's life would have to be in 1905 where it is said to be the "Miracle Year" of his life (Einstein). He was well known for his Special Theory of Relativity, which tackled motion and the speed of light as well as the equation E = mc 2 (energy equals mass times the velocity of light squared). As a couple of years went by Einstein was teaching as a professor in many different areas and finally settled in Germany to become the research director of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Physics. In 1916 Einstein published his General Theory of Relativity and it was the end product of ten years worth of work in which revolutionized physics (Albert Einstein-Biography). After the war had ended Einstein and his wife Mileva got divorced due to his professional advances in his work and later married his cousin Elsa Loewen thal in the same year of his divorce.
In 1922, Einstein received the Nobel Prize for his genius in Physics. Later on in his life he went to America, but at the same time the Nazi party came to power in Germany and was unable to return their. During the beginning of the Second World War Einstein had wrote to the President about the Atomic bomb in which he pleaded with the President not to use it. Although Einstein would not participate in the development of the Atomic bomb the idea of it started from his famous equation. After the end of the War, Einstein devoted his life towards keeping peace in which he wrote many articles and speeches calling for a world government (Einstein). Towards the end of his life Einstein was held high in legendary standards of fame in which everyone new of him world wide.
