Summer of the Monkeys By: Wilson Rawls The book Summer of the Monkeys is about a family of four that had just moved to the Ozark Mountains, smack dab in the middle of the Cherokee Nation. The last thing a fourteen year old boy expects to find along an old Ozark river bottom is a tree full of monkeys. Jay Berry Lee's grandpa had an explanation of course, as he did for most things. The monkeys had escaped from a traveling circus, and there was a handsome reward in store for anyone who could catch them. Grandpa said there wasnt any animal that couldnt be caught somehow, and Jay Berry started out be living him. By the end of the book Jay Berry Lee had learned a lot more than he ever bargained for.
He also learned about faith, and how wishes come true, and knowing what it is you really want. He even learned a little about growing up. The Major Characters in Summer of the Monkeys is Jay Berry Lee his grandpa and his little sister Das iy. They all play a big role in this book. The Protagonist in my book is Jay Berry Lee and the Antagonist are all those monkeys that Jay Berry is trying to get.
The Theme in Summer of the Monkeys is how to do something that is hard to do. How to give up something you really want to help someone out in the long run. Its hard to do the right thing sometimes. The Setting of the story is in the Ozark mountains smack dab in the middle of the Cherokee Nation.
The Climax of this book is when Jay Berry Lee had to choose weather or not to pay for his sister's leg to be fixed. That is not easy to do when your a 14 year old boy when you want a pony and a. 22. The main Conflict in this story is when Jay Berry Lee's mom didnt want him to get hurt trying to get these Monkeys.
She wanted him to forget about then but when a boys mind is set you cant change it. I think every kid should read this book because i think it helped me realize how goo i have things. I try to relate my life to this book but they have it so hard i just couldnt do it. I think this is one of the best books i have read. i like the plot and everything that goes on in the book Summer of the Monkeys..

I never leave reviews for products or services because I am quite particular and picky. Surprisingly enough, EssayPride has managed to satisfy all of my requirements, even though I asked for several alterations to the paper they've sent initially. My assignments are quite complicated and it is essential to possess a certain level of knowledge in order to write a decent paper. These guys have managed, so I give them four stars.

As probably any student, I was quite hesitant about asking somebody else to do my assignments at first. However, after EssayPride has sent me my first paper and I've read it, I understood that I could actually learn a lot from them. The research they've done was impressive and I understood the topic even better than after going to class and reading my textbook. I am not using this website to "cheat", I am using it as a tutoring service, they help me to understand the material better.
