You will need to include more than just the examples in your supporting paragraphs. You will need good topic sentences, direct quotations from the text, smooth transitions from one example to the next and from one paragraph to another, and logical concluding sentences. Use exemplification paragraphs to provide instances that clarify your topic statement. The topic sentence is supported by examples that illustrate, support, and clarify the main point.
