In the future, economists estimate that Biochip technologies will be quite a lucrative business (Nec erato 29). Government officials are looking forward to a cashless society. In 2003, World Net Daily informed its readers that, "Cashless payment systems are now part of a larger technology development subset: government identification experiments that seek to combine cashless payment applications with national I.D. information... contain a whole host of government, personal, employment and commercial data and applications on a single, contact less Radio Frequency Identity Chip (Gossett 03)".

Interactions of cashless programs tend to reduce the scope of the black-market and its un-taxable underground economy. By accepting the idea that it is for the betterment of our society to essentially chip our pets, our elders, our children and ourselves, we are encouraging the termination of privacy in the 21st Century. If the government increases database storage, by consequence it is increasing the venues one has to gain entry to our personal information. Access to our financial status, medical history, place of employment and even residency, will be there for the 'scanning'. The potential abuses of the government, as well as individuals behind the technology sector of society, outweigh the beneficial uses of such technology. The technological revolution has a long journey ahead.

With the increasing demands for instant communication, the "mark of the beast" is universally inevitable. "If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink the wine of the wrath of god... ". (Rev. 14: 9-11).

Biochips are currently voluntary accessories to our everyday lives. On July 11, 2002, Senator Chuck Grassley addressed Congress on the subject of Social Security Numbers. Senator Grasse r stated "Although the Social Security Number was originally created to administer the Social Security program, its use has expanded over the years, so that today, it has for all practical purposes become a national identity number... The social Security number is used by government and businesses alike for both identification and record keeping purposes... The sequence of events concerning our Social Security system indicates the position within the future of our National Identity.

Biochip implantation devices logically, appear to be the future of our National Identity system. If a National Identity is the collateral of the future, then it isn't before long until the Biochip will be mandated. "Given the extensive use of Social Security numbers by both business and government, someone will always have access to someone else's Social Security Number (Grassley 11, Jul. 02) " In such an advancing world, the Government has defeated the conception of privacy. Science fiction has become our reality. We are arriving at a time in history when our government is forming an alliance with science and technology. As our generation increasingly embraces such advances, we continue to witness the ongoing neglect of our moral and ethical needs.
