In class on Wednesday, we performed a series of tests on ourselves to determine what kind of learner we were. There were four tests that determined learning styles. In the first test I determined that I was a detailed or inductive thinker. This means that I work from smaller to larger, and examine the lesser points and details first. The second test found that I am a cooperative learner. This means that I work better with others in a group situation.
The third test found that I am a visual learner. Although I feel that I learn just as much through the other two, auditory and kinesthetic this was mostly correct. The fourth and final test determined that I am a right-brain dominant. This I agree with. I do feel that I pick up more material when the atmosphere is a bit less structured although I do need some structure to keep myself organized and focused. Overall I believe that these tests were accurate.
They seemed to have pinpointed most of my learning strategies and abilities. There are some where I feel that I use more than one style of learning, but this is a good basis for improvement. I can now try to focus more on these types of learning styles and see if they change the amount of material I pick up when studying. this paper is finished, i think i did well, but i don't know. How about you? do you think i did well? well maybe i should ask someone else? what about that, what do you think about that? sound like fun. the beach is fun, do you like the beach?? should i ask someone else? do they like the beach?
