Fit People example essay topic
They constantly check the magazines for new diet tips, they buy the newest pills promised to lose weight or tour money back; they even stared eating all their meals at Subway, so they could be the next Jared. Some research scientists would say what the out of shape people need most is exercise. I agree completely, so do they. They are very aware of the idea, but because of their extensive planning that precedes the actual workout itself, they often don't have enough energy left for any more movements. An out of shape person will painstakingly plan out everything, from how much they will east to how many hours of sleep they et. Before actually doing anything, they " ll have brought the whole sporting good store home, just in case.
One can never be sure if ten sweatbands is enough. After the many month spent gathering information on the subject of fitness; after the countless Trips to the mall, it's finally time for the real exercise to begin. The Question is now how? The person is tired and sick of all the time and effort spend. So the task of getting into shape is delayed another day.
Though the person may not have been able to achieve their goal, they must be praised for all the preparation and attention to detail, down to the last cherry flavored bottle of sports drink. The fit person, on the other hand, will do nothing of the sort. To them, excising is just a part of their day. They never take it so seriously as to treat themselves to a big ice cream sundae after a good run, or think of ways to increase their results while at the same time reducing their efforts. To them, it's just another part of their daily routine, no different from sleeping or eating. The fit person suffers from low self-image and delusion.
They can't seem to accept that their body is destined, like everything else that's alive, for atrophy. They work hard at keeping the body at an almost unnatural state of robustness. They simply cannot imagine how they could survive if they start to give in to nature's call. They are in denial most of the times, tricking and fooling themselves to think that somehow they can defy time's effect on them. The out of shape people accepts reality, the fact that they were never meant to look like the runway models.
They never force themselves to do smoothing that's against the basic instinct of the molecules, which is to spend as little energy as possible. Unlike the fit people, they have come to terms about their imperfection. Anyone who has studied physiology knows admitting the problem is the first step toward the solution. The fit people also have a bad attitude when it comes to excising. They are very obsessive and don't take criticisms very well. The bikers and joggers are particularly bad.
They would jog or bike no matter what the weather's like, whether it be raining or snowing. Determined, some call it, but to me, that could almost be diagnosed as a disorder. A disorder that makes the victim abandons all reason and sanity. When someone offers them some sound advice, like, "don't go running in the pouring rain". , or "Don't you think you should stop biking it the six feet deep snow?" All the fit people do is get defensive and ignore what their warmly dressed, out of shape spouse try to tell them. It's for these reasons and more that I say I'm very worried about the Illinois' department of physical education. It seems clear to me that they are in line with a conspiracy to brainwash the future leaders of America into emotionally unstable zombies who are desperately in need of medical attention.
