Funny Movie example essay topic

Movies that are said to be "hilariously funny" could never be compared with the movie of "Dumb and Dumber". Lloyd (Jim Carrey) and Harry (Jeff Daniels) are the characters who are enjoyable to watch. The movie is basically about Lloyd and Harry who are raveling to Aspen, Colorado to give back a briefcase to Mary Swanson (Lauren Holly) who happens to leave it at the airport. This is one of the funniest movies of all time with its "fall-out-of-your-seat" laughs and its practical jokes that are done th ugh out the movie. Out of 10 stars, this movie would have to be a 9. In the comedy of "Dumb and Dumber", it has a boring plot, it is funny, and the actors do a good job matching the characters.

The movie of "Dumb and Dumber" had a boring plot. This is not one of those suspenseful, full of action and excitement type of movie. With only one main purpose in the movie, it causes there to be hardly no action what so ever. Most of the movie evol's around Lloyd and Harry's expedition to Aspen. Next, this movie is funny inside and out. There isn't a single part or scene when you wouldn't laugh.

There were never long periods of time when you wouldn't laugh. I mean, how could you not laugh when Lloyd sells their dead parakeet to a blind kid, or when the officer pulls them over and test drinks what in the beer bottles. O.K., O.K., so it is pretty sick, but rather hilarious if you think about it.

There are also many pranks to make this a funny movie, like when Lloyd and Harry put hot peppers on the gang man's sandwich and he collapses. Another Lupo 2 one is when Lloyd put a laxative in Harry's drink. So what if this movie had childish humor, most people would agree with me that its entertaining to see. Another thing that makes this such a good movie is how the actors did a good job matching with their characters. Jim Carrey was tremendous with Lloyd, especially with all the absurd sounds and gestures. He was the perfect guy for the part.

Jeff Dani's also did a good job playing Harry, even though it was his first time doing a movie like this one. You have to give both of these guys credit for doing this movie. They pulled stuff off that you would only talk about with your friends doing. Both ac rs brought a lot of entertainment that no one else could of done. This is a sort of movie that most people would find amusing. If your one of those people who thinks not to fondly of practical jokes, absurd gestures, and unusual bodily functions, then I would recommend you stay at home and watch something more of yo taste, Oprah!

However, most people I know would die laughing at these things. Who wouldn't find the things in this movie funny? This movie is greatly recommended for everyone to see, especially if you want to laugh the entire time. So if you want t go see a terrific comedy for the entire family to enjoy, then go see "Dumb and Dumber", you " ll wet you pants.
