My Life I entered the world at a good time actually. Growing up I watched some great cartoons and wore some great shoes. Being young and living for the day was a great thing but I started to grow up in first grade. The day that I realized that the world wasn't perfect was when I found out that my dad was laid off from Aetna.

Around that time, I began see through the curtain of childhood. My life was full of ups and downs for most of my life. Last year I lost my grandfather who was my father figure, he was my friend. In February of my junior year, my dad entered the hospital with pancreatitis.

Then my best friend's mother had a aneurysm. Last year I grew up too fast and learned more about life than i expected. Thought I went threw some hardships in my life, they only made me stronger. My Mom and Dad showed me how to smile and taught me that sometimes laughter is the best medicine. I learned that when you are enjoying yourself you become more interested and involved. Sometimes when work is too serious you become stressed and need to regain focus on your task.

You need to have a laugh to reset your mind. My supportive family also made me stronger. I grew up around a family that has always made me feel grateful for what I have and not to be envious of others. Another gift that they gave me was medicine. Both of my Aunts are nurses. Anytime that someone was sick or I had a question about a medical problem they were a great resource for me.

This experience made me comfortable with medicine. With all of these opportunities pointing me in the right direction it made me realize that want to go into the medical field. How can you not feel good about yourself knowing that you making a difference in someone's life. The greatest gift that I could give someone in life is the gift of life. One passion I love is to play sports. Baseball was a game that gave me so much.

As I grew and entered into competitive baseball, I grew attached to it more than I thought possible. Even though it is just a game I learned more about myself and the meaning of teamwork. It taught me the aspect of being a team player. It taught me how to take control of a game and lead people to the correct decisions.

I would also prove to have a nature ability for the game making the baseball team all four years. I was given a nature talent to throw the ball in the upper seventies and pitching is a position where I really can display my talent. I enjoy playing pitcher because I can control the team's destiny and I trust myself to get the job done. Growing up the way I did also made me realize how to become proud of myself.

I would like to think of myself as a responsible and ear to learn young adult. Learning never ends and going to college is one of the best ways to learn and to grow. that lie ahead of me are uncountable but I look forward to creating a more perfect me.
