When you live your life based on sentiments, trying not to hurt everyone's feelings or doing things just because it feels good to do it, you " ll get nowhere twice as fast. Do not live by tradition either. If you do the same things the same way you have always done them, you will continue to get the same results. Do not live by tradition, it is an enemy of progress. Live by purpose. Ask yourself, "How can I do it better this year than I did last year?" Success brooks no argument.

It announces itself. Every morning before you set about the day's work, ask God for directions. He is a God of plan and productivity. He set to work for 6 days and the whole of the universe came into existence. Our Lord ministered for three and a half years and the whole world changed. That is effectiveness.

"Efficiency" means to do things well; "effectiveness" means to get results. Strive not only to be efficient, go for effectiveness. When you get results people will bow to you. People who are going nowhere keep waiting for the right time, or a better day. People who are going somewhere know that today is a better day". Blessed is the man who walk eth not in the counsel of the ungodly.

Nor stand eth in the way of sinners, nor sit teth in the seat if the scornful... And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers if water that bring eth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither: and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drive th away". Ps 1: 1, 3&4. Live a life of purpose.

Behind everything God says or does is a grand purpose. God lives per day. He doesn't count by years, months or weeks but days. The psalmist said concerning God: "So teach us to number our days that we might apply our hearts to wisdom". Ps 90: 12 Take charge of the day and the weeks, months and years would take care of themselves. It is a vexation of the spirit to come to church five to seven times a week, pray like crazy with nothing to show for it by way of results.

Live productively. Everything it takes for any man to excel in any field is embedded in the bible. You can't have such a fountain of wisdom and live like a fool. We tend to view each day as beginning in the morning and ending at night, but God takes a different position. Six times in the first chapter of the book of Genesis (Gen 1: 5, 8, 13, 19, 23 & 31) the scriptures end with: "And the evening, and the morning, the... day". There is so much to be said for this.

"Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children". Eph 5: 1. Every new day was birthed the previous night. Here's a tip: Before you go to bed each night, review the activity of the day and put on paper the five most important things you would like to achieve the next day.

The next day don't deviate from these goals, but pursue those five things. It does not matter if all were not eventually accomplished, but the next day put high on your list the unfinished tasks and go ahead to achieve them. If you do this doggedly brethren, very soon this generation will celebrate you. By all means pray but after you have prayed, live productively. Don't wait for manna to fall from heaven; the manna is in your hands.

You " re just an idea away from breakthrough. God not only plans and thinks His purpose; He speaks His purpose". In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, let there be light: and there was light".

Gen 1: 1-3 There shall be light in your life this year. He saw darkness and called forth light. He didn't speak what He saw, He spoke what He wanted. Beloved, can you see your house this year built and finished, painted and furnished? Woman, can you see your children running around the house and calling you mummy.

Sir, can you see your car? Don't agree with what the devil is saying about your business. You are the first prophet over your life, speak life". For I know the thoughts I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end". Jer 29: 11 Key into God's thoughts and plans for your life and continue to say it. It doesn't matter if you don't see it now "weeping may endure... but joy cometh".

This year God will do great things for you. This year you will reach your goal. This year you will celebrate. This year you will jubilate.

God said, before He saw, this year you will see the glory of God. When you key into divine purpose, the devil becomes irrelevant in your life. God spoke His purpose and His word prevailed. God spoke His purpose and His counsel stood. Everything lined up with what God said. He didn't speak based on circumstances.

He spoke based on purpose. What purpose is God planting on your life this year? Discover the purpose of God upon your life and key into it. If you don't have a purpose, someone else would direct you. This year you will not spend your energy in vain. This year, the purpose of God will be clear to you.

God will open great doors to you this year. This year you will flourish. You will blossom and bloom. Throughout this year you will live fat and glorify God. Your future is colorful, great, majestic, glorious and fruitful.

I see you breaking forth and rising.
