Cartoons consist of moral lessons, whether good or bad, that can affect a child's brain. Pokemon, in particular, is a cartoon that consists of both good and bad moral lessons. But Aesop's Fables, which is a collection of verses or stories that illustrate moral thesis or mock human beings, consists of only good moral lessons. These two sources both consists of specific moral lessons, but Aesop's fables, in particular, does a much better job at doing so. In one specific episode of Pokemon the moral was basically telling children that it was fine to try to salvage something that is definitely going to blow up. Now, is that a good trait that should be taught to a child at such a young age?
In several episodes, Misty and Ash, characters of the cartoon, engaged in an argument. When things get out of control, Pikachu electrocutes both of them. Electrifying? Is that something a child should be in taking? These are just a few of the bad moral lesson taught by Pokemon, but it also teaches good moral lessons, which consists of friendship, love, and sticking to your goals. Friendship and love include forgiveness, little arguments, and respect.
Pokemon has neither more bad or good moral lessons, but it definitely doesn't do the do the good work on child's brain as Aesop's Fables. Aesop's Fables consists of nothing, but good moral lessons. In shaping the brain of a child, Aesop's Fables simply break the moral itself down so that the child can have a good understanding of the moral. The fables are very simple in expression but they show the deeper aspects of human life in a charming way and leave a strong impression upon the readers and listeners (children). In one of the fables the moral was slow but steady wins the race. This moral means take your time don't rush and the outcome will be pleasing.
In another fable, the moral was self help is the best help. This is a self explanatory moral, which basically says; don't depend on other to help you, help yourself because only you know what's best for you. Aesop's Fables does such a good job at shaping and constructing a child's brain. These two sources of moral lessons, both teach very important morals that can successfully shape a morally right and respectful child. But one, in particular does a better job at teaching these lessons.
Aesop's Fables does such a much better job at teaching good morals than Pokemon because of the way the morals are brought about. Pokemon does consists of good morals that should be taught to children, but Aesop's Fable's morals are morals that should be taught to children 24/7 hours of the day, that effectively shape that brain of a child.
