Since Nagano, his only goal was to bring back a gold medal from the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. But, on February 12th, Jeremy Wotherspoon was striding towards his goal when he fell on the ice after his fourth stride. That was the end of his dream of winning a medal at these Olympics games. This fall has been a deception for this full of hope man and for many Canadians who were behind him on his quest to this medal. Fortunately, he will be able to try to reach this golden round-shaped object at the next Olympic Games in Torino, in 2006.
