Advances in computer technologies will make all of these things possible. Third, the role of creating new computer chips and other hardware will be that of the big companies that lay in the United States. Companies such as Intel, AMD, and Macintosh will be responsible for creating the new processing chips needed. As computers get faster, they can perform more operations per second.

These faster computers will allow users in the home to use advanced programs and multitask.
