Horrible A Person example essay topic

266 words
This sentence is a very meaningful sentence. The author is using the phrase "Ralph wept for the end of innocence" to show that Ralph knows how many bad things happened and that he is partly to blame. When they arrived on the island they were innocent English schoolboys but they have twisted horribly into savages killing animals and each other. Ralph has come to realize the horrible reality and he is horrified and traumatized. "The darkness of man's heart, and the fall through the air of true, wise friend called Piggy". The darkness of man's heart means he now knows the primal instincts of man and how horrible a person can turn into in the right conditions.

The darkness is in everyone, but most people control their dark side. It takes but one person to bring it out in a group of people. It acts much like peer pressure, they saw one boy acting like that and thought that it would be fun to be like him, so they turned. Ralph weeps because Piggy was the only person that stayed himself and because of that, he was murdered. Piggy finally stood up for himself and he was killed for it. This book is very tragic and emotional but also quite accurate to what would happen if kids were stranded.

All it takes is one bit of evil and all the good around it are suddenly caught in a downward spiral of power and corruption resulting in a tragic demise to all that oppose it.
