A llama Iqbal was born on November 9, 1877 in Sialkot. He got his early education in native city. He did his masters in Philsosphy from the University of Punjab then he was awarded a PHD degree from a fore gin university. He served as a professor in government college lahore.
He died on april 21, 1938. He was buried out side the royal mosque Lahore. For welfare and betterment of muslims of the sub-continent, he did a lot. He joined the muslim league in 1930. He gave us the idea of pakistan. He served his nation with literary work.
He composed many poems and books the famous one are shikwa, jawa b-e-shikwa, bang-e-dara, za boor-e-a jam and javed nama.
