1. My favorite character was so hard to pick I really like Will and Curly both but for different reasons, if I had to pick one though I would say Will Parker because he brings more humor into the musical, the dance scene from the song Kansas City is classic. I love Wills innocent humor and wit, all throughout he is up beat, and that is why he is my favorite. 2.

My favorite moment of Oklahoma comes toward the beginning when I think it is that curly and Lorie have their first romantic connection. That is when curly is singing surrey with the fringe on the top, and the music slows down and he has her imagining what the ride home would be like, it is so sweet. 3. The significance of the set is that Jud's smoke house was set up and away from the main stage, which showed his creepiness and that he wasn't tied to the earth. 4. The costumes showed significance to the role of the character.

It tied certain people to the earth like aunt Eller, also it showed her age, where as Lorie was tied to the earth but in a more youthful fashion. 5. Well I have seen this musical a number of times so there wasn't anything that I was really expecting, that wasn't in the reading. I guess just seeing it played by different actors, changed the image that I already had in my head of the characters. 6. One thing that you get, in a live performance is the facial expression which makes so much difference on getting the audience more involved rather then just reading a script.

7. I would say the strongest song for me, was the "farmer and the cowman" because I was feeling a little tired after intermission and it really brought me back into the play. 8. The dances that caught my attention the most was the guys when they danced in "Kansas City" and "it's a Scandal" when the guys lowered themselves on there hats it was such a powerful point.

Also they were fun and uplifting but with a lot of detail. 9. The live version defiantly gets you more involved in the play, and actually seeing the dances and how the characters interact with one another while they are singing really adds a lot. Also seeing it live brings in the color of light and costumes, which brings the understanding of what we talked about in class. 10. The one moment that made me decide on the approach I will be writing my research paper on was the Kansas City dance, I want to look at the different dances in the play and write about what and why they are doing the dance..
