In this field project we are going to investigate an interview that had been taken from a teacher of a regular high school that is occupied in a not totally successful neighbourhood of New York. The main task is to explore questions of access, inequality and other issues that can be taken from the interview presented. The interview took place in a classroom of the school that the teacher, whose name is Dale Gerbino, currently is teaching his classes on a regular basis. The classes that are taught by the interviewee are educational program classes of Early Childhood Education. Most of the kids according to the interview were from the poor families that used welfare and other kinds of donations from the government. This can be seen from his experience of teaching that was established during many years. Taking a look at the students outfit can see the fact that students that attend the evaluated school are from more poor families. They usually wear the uniform, which is not mandatory at this facility but is rather cheaper to wear a uniform for several years than to buy a wardrobe for a student each year.

Thereafter we have an interview situation in which the interviewee is a teacher of a school with students of a very early age of studying and the school is occupied in a less socially successful area of town, consequently students families are rather from lower level of income. Context Variable. The context variable for this interview is poverty and inequality among the younger years education students. The purpose of the interview was to establish a clear vision of what problems do exist in current educational process.

After establishing a clear vision of what the situation currently is it is necessary to look for the ways of improving it if necessary and also to maintain the stronger parts of the existing situation. Taking into account what the teacher, as the primary person that is aware of the current problems and possible ways of improvement, has established and what solutions he has to propose, it was necessary to create a clear plan of what can be done right away and possible plan of activities for the closer future. The current situation appeared to be rather poor according to the teachers opinion but although it is poor it is not actually hopeless. The teacher highlights the improvements that have already been made within shorter time periods and actual students desire to become just as good as any other students from any other particular area of town or territory of the state. The situation is not critical but there are many inappropriate things happen to the students from those low-income families.

They have too much staff to worry about and therefore it is difficult for them to concentrate their attention upon the educational process. Also there are cases of abuse by their older members of their families that makes the students lives even more hard. Consequently it is necessary to pay much more attention to the educational process of this category of students in order to make a quality education for them. This is done by the teachers with the help of all members of the schools staff and therefore this process is not that difficult, as it appears to look at the first site. But the teacher actually thinks that even though this process of teaching the category of students is kind of hard it is also very rewarding. This is because it is very nice to see the improvement in the personalities of such kids along the educational process.

The overall recommendations that the teacher gives for those that may be involved in the process are to be patient and sympathetic and the improvement will come along.
