Othello has supposed affair to Emilia who is Lago's wife. Thus, Lago constructs a plan to revenge. Stanley hates Blanche because she destroys the good relationship between him and his wife, Stella. He thinks that she has sold the Belle Reve which he thinks it's apart of partly him, but she does not give him any money. The most important one, he 'assume' that Blanche describes him as 'common' and bestial.
Thus, he plots a plan to revenge. In all, both Lago and Stanley start tragic plan their hatred. Lago is absolutely inhuman while Stanley has little consciences in his heart. In order to achieve the target, Iago does everything's that will benefits himself even killing other's. He kills Rodrigo who helps him a lot in his pain. He persuade Othello to kill his Desdemona.
Furthermore he kills his wife at the end. Stanley has not yet totally lost his humanity. Although he has rapedBranche, he does not kill her or other people. Moreover, at the end of the play he settles her into a asylum, but he does not just forsakes her. This reveals that someone will look after her in the future, and she will not be living alone. Iago can control Others because he is able to gain trust form other characters. He seems loyal in front of everyone so he can easily control others. Stanley is the ' ' among his friends. He is the leader of the bowling team and the 'plant'.
Thus, he can control his friends. Also he can " control's stella and Blanche because man is always the King. There is no doubt that Lago are Stanley are the master in the play. Lago and Stanley are both an evil person, they both start their tragic scheme by their hatred. Lago is seemed to be much smarter than Stanley, but ironically, Iago cannot completely finish his tragic plan while Stanley can. Furthermore, Iago ends up with death.
Anyway, they both cannot use their brilliant on the good side: otherwise the world will be more beautiful.
