It allows people the opportunity to pick on other people who don't know the art. It gives the one who knows it an upper hand against everybody else. If the wrong people learn this art we could all be in trouble.
They would go around terrorizing everything and body. The first thing you are taught in whatever art you take is that you should never use what you know unless you have no choice. In this art there is no such thing as the wrong kind of person, all people with enough training are able to know right from wrong. It helps define lines between authority figures and citizens. It also teaches you to respect you r parents and elders more. You are more likely to hurt someone if you are trained in an art.
When you get in a fight you are going to either seriously injure the other person or even kill them. Knowing these types of arts is something that should have been lost in is history, it has no place in today's society. It only causes problems and teaches us to hurt each other. Martial Arts shouldn't be considered self-defense but more like a weapon to kill. Yes you are more likely to hurt someone if, and only if, you are provoked into a fight that is unavoidable.
This is exactly why you are taught right from the beginning that you do not use it. But if it comes down to it you are trained to have self-control and to know how much force is necessary to talk the other person down. Martial Arts teach people that fighting is the way to solve all problems. By giving the skill to fight to people they will think that they can win an argument buy fighting and not talking. It promotes people to hurt rather than heal and makes arguments a scary thing to have.
You are never taught to solve your problems with fists instead of words. Using your fists is not what Martial arts are about. It is there for you to learn how to carefully handle a stressful situation. In the world there are several things that can happen to a person. People all the time get into trouble like rape, mugged, beat up, or even just stressful situations. A good way to prepare you for any of these situations is to try learning a form of Martial Arts.

Martial Arts are a good form of exercise. It doesn't seem like you are doing all that much for your body when I actuality you are getting in great shape doing this. You would be able to do things you haven't normally been able to do. Another positive thing about martial arts is that it teaches you self-defense. This is something every person should have. With this you are less of a target for people to victimize you.
It not only shows you how to get out of tough situations, but it helps in keeping you out of them. You become more aware of little things that might tip you off that someone is going to jump you. You would be able not only to scream and yell for help but you could provide you r own help and take action to stop the guy. If you are in school it could come in very handy too. If your not one of the bigger kids in class you will be able to protect yourself. It would prevent the bully from taking your lunch money if he new that you could kick his butt.
Not many people would want to try to hurt you or your friends if you could stick up for yourself and them. Bullies don't like confrontation so they would stay away from you. You are also taught how to control yourself in situations. You are taught to understand that emotions can get you into trouble so you want to not let them control they way you use your weapon, our body. You are taught such discipline that you are able to use your weapon with almost perfect precision. Which makes you a very powerful person.
So you must always remember that you cannot provoke any attack. Martial Arts is something that everybody should know because it allow you to have better control over your actions as well as your emotions. I really do encourage anybody to try out a form of martial arts. Even if you don't like to fight it is a good way to get out of the house and get some exercise. No matter who you are this will come in handy in more ways than one.
