I live with both of my parents and my grade 8 sister. I enjoy chatting online with MSN (unfortunately), playing computer / video games and playing sports such as basketball (especially, but too weak to be in any team), badminton, snooker, table tennis, soccer, etc. I believe I will be using software such as Photoshop, Turing, AutoCAD, and etc. during this semester. Throughout the past, I have used many computer applications. Many school assignments require me to use office programs like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and FrontPage. Although I don't exactly know how a game made yet, I have had lots of experience playing with them such as WarCraft 3, GTA Vice City, Global Operations, Splinter Cell, Need For Speed (s), and much much more. I believe Photoshop 7 and ImageReady 7 (and Paint) are the programs I have been using for usage of handling graphics, and I'm comfortable of using them. I know very little about the internet (other than the basics) and different virus, so I hope to learn more from you throughout this course. All I know is that internet can be very resourceful when use correctly, if not, major problems may occur. I have tried building websites, but I don't like it too much.
That's why I've only been using Frontpage or Word to make the webpages and then upload them onto the internet, instead of using HTML, which is a lot more complicated. I did very little and basic programming last year with Turing, as simple as drawing circles and squares and simple number games. Engineering is a fun course to take, because I know I'll be learn lots of fun stuff like graphics, internet usage / facts, programming and best of all, building / making mechanics.
