Before the Industrial Revolution began, many people worked on farms and could live with what they did for a living. When the Industrial Revolution began, many people were forced to go into the big cities to get jobs in the Industrial field. To many, this was a harsh punishment. They worked long hours with little or no pay at all. Working conditions varied by country, but almost all factories were the same inside. There were many rules pertaining to jobs in factories.

These rules applied to women and men, as well as children over the age of ten. I believe that the children should have not worked at their young age. It is just not right to see little children in a factory cleaning machinery. Children should be outside running and playing in the sun.
