Pictures are cast impressions and expression of an event or occasion, in other words, summarizes it. Griffin uses the family portraits of Himmler, to suggest part of the reason which lead him to cause such catastrophes. She also made us understand that a picture cast an intrinsic impression of the lives of the individuals represented by the picture. She also uses the pictures as medium of connection.
