Macbeth As Thane Of Glamis example essay topic
I was wrong. Unexpectedly, the weird sisters spoke one by one, hailing Macbeth as Thane of Glamis, Thane of Cawdor, and then King. THe prophecies they chanted seemed peculiar for they were very far fetched. REgardless of the unbelievable chant Macbeth received, I still asked for my prophecy in hopes for praises. They chanted to me: "lesser than Macbeth, yet greater.
Not so happy, yet much happier. Thou shalt get kings, though thou be none" (SHakespeare, I, , 65-67). I was confused of my prophecy, my fair lady, and still am. However, I don't think I shall take any of these fanciful predictions as the truth. I sense evil schemes lurking behind everything. I am no fool.
Macbeth was outraged and confused, emended answers to the insights that the weird sisters be towed upon him. Bizarrely, they vanished without a word. It was as though their corporal essences melted into the air like breath into the wind (Shakespeare, I, , 81-82). Macbeth and I thought we had eaten an insane root a dn turned us into madmen, yet everything appeared very realistic.
Coincidently, Ross comes with good news for Macbeth from King Duncan. The Thane of Cawdor was to be executed, and Macbeth was to be in his place. Macbeth was arl eady Thane of Glamis, and now, Thane of Cawdor. Part of the prophecy had already come true! I warned Macbeth of evil incidents that may occur in the future. These weird sisters could lure us into their trap by giving what we want, but instead take somethin much more valuable later on.
I told him: "Oftentimes to win us to our harm, The instruments of the darkness tells us truths, Win us honest trifles, to betray's In deepest consequence" (shakespeare, I, , 123-1236). But will he take what I've said into heart? Will he honestly tell me his thoughts? What shall I do? What am I able to do? What do these prophecies foretell?
ALthough Macbeth said that he will leave all the fantastical revelations to chance without his stir, but greed and ambition always defeats the logical mind. Well dear, time is precious and I must be on my way. I will come home as soon as possible; I hope that all is well at home. I will meet Flea nce at Inverness.
My best wishes to you. Love, Banque.
