Human Body System Interaction. All the systems in the human body are vital to our survival and well-being. If you take away the functions of just one of these systems our whole body will cease to work properly. The main systems of the human body are the nervous, endocrine respiratory, circulatory, immune, digestive, excretory, skeletal, muscular, and the reproductive systems. They all work together in harmony and unison to keep us alive. The nervous and endocrine systems are what control most of the body.

The nervous system includes the brain, spinal, cord and nerves. The endocrine system consists of various hormonal glands such as the pituitary. These two systems interact closely since they both have a part in controlling the body. They work together to aid the body in performing its numerous functions and giving it commands.

The respiratory and endocrine system works with all the system by controlling their actions and how they perform their tasks. It moves the muscles of the muscular system and controls all motor movements. The endocrine builds up the bones of the skeletal system and produces the hormones that make the reproductive system mature. The nervous system helps the circulatory system by controlling the amount of glucose in blood and blood pressure. It also regulates breathing for the respiratory system.

The digestive system is also aided by the sensory nerves in the mouth which help it decide if food should be released back upward. The nervous and endocrine systems are the "control centers" of the body. The respiratory system is also interacts with other organs. It is made up of the lungs, nose, trachea, and mouth. This system supplies the body with a steady flow of oxygen. The respiratory system helps its circulatory counterpart by providing the blood with oxygen.

The circulatory and immune systems are two very closely related systems. The circulatory is composed out of blood vessels, the heart, and blood. The immune system is made up of white blood cells and various lymph nodes. Basically, most of the immune system is found inside the blood of the circulatory system.

The circulatory system provides the body with blood. It gives the kidneys of the digestive system something to filter and picks up nutrients from the small intestines. It also picks up air from the lungs of the respiratory system and provides the brain of the nervous system with blood, along with the rests of the body. Protection from wounds in the integumentary system is also provided by the circulatory system which has platelets that aid in blood clotting and forming scabs. The immune system protects all the other systems from disease and helps them from being attacked by viruses and bacteria.

It also aids the ears of the nervous system with some very protective earwax. The circulatory system provides us with life fluid while the immune system protects that fluid and the rest of our body. The digestive and excretory systems help the body with the wonderful task of food. The digestive system is composed of the stomach, mouth, liver, pancreas, and the large and small intestine.

It digests food and provides the body with nutrients. The excretory system includes the kidneys and bladder. It is closely related to the digestive system because it receives the direct waste from the large intestines. The digestive system aids the circulatory system by supplying blood with nutrients. It also kills the bacteria caught in mucus and therefore helps both the respiratory and immune systems. The excretory system helps the circulatory system by performing homeostasis in the kidneys and keeping the blood balanced.

It also disposes of all the wastes from the body. These two systems keep the body well fed and clean. The skeletal and muscular systems are the main support for the body. The skeletal system includes all the bones in the body. It is divided into the axial and appendicular skeleton.

Without these systems the body would fall apart. The reproductive system is made up of the testes in males and the ovaries I females. These organs help in the process of human reproduction. This system aids the endocrine system by distributing hormones. It helps the excretory system by disposing of waste through the urethra. This system helps in the reproduction of the human species.
