I understand that problem of job and unemployment in US is a global project that is why I would like to discuss only few aspects of the problem. Lets take for example slave-owning system poverty and pecuniary dependency are evident but who can say about unemployment? That is why I am fully confident that poverty can exist without unemployment.

Poverty doesnt imply unemployment and before talking about of poverty as a major side effect of unemployment we must consider all concomitant factors. In 1960's, a discouraging fact came to be known: between 40 and 50 million Americans were considered to be poor. So why does one of the worlds richest countries have one of the highest poverty rates?
