Money And Happiness Many People example essay topic
Certain things cannot be priced, and that is what real happiness is about. Many people think that material wealth or just plain money can make them happy, or can buy them the things they believe can make them happy. We devote a great deal of our time trying to make ourselves happy. We often look over the simple things that bring us true happiness. Love is one of those free objects in our lives. It cost nothing but can turn your life completely around.
It is a powerful and exciting feeling. Love is something that happens within yourself. Nobody can purchase those feelings you have for someone else. I have been in a relationship for a year now; it has been the best feeling I have ever had. I would not trade the way I feel for all the amount of money in the world. People that think they can buy peoples feeling or emotions with money, and maybe they can for a while.
But it is all temporary. Happiness last forever it is not temporary. Our families are people that have been there for us throughout our entire lives. They have been the people that we have created all our memories with. They know every story behind all the bumps, bruises, embarrassments, dating experiences, and all other special events. No amount of money in the world could pay for that.
Memories cannot be paid for or paid off, they are formed and created. I have always been a very family oriented person; therefore I don't understand why some people would think that money could buy happiness. Families are who forms you; they didn't purchase you they did it by love not thinking about the best things in life being free. Many of us think of our friends as treasures. A friend is someone that likes you for who you are, and they continue to believe in you even when you cease to believe in yourself. Our friendships we form are very tight bonds.
We get emotionally involved with people. Money cannot interfere with our feelings, nor can money buy us true friends. We as human beings would be very unhappy without friends to tell our secrets to and having a shoulder to lean on when we need it. I have seen people who will buy people clothes, accessories, food, anything trying to buy friends. It may work but only for a while. Then it just goes to prove once again money cannot buy happiness.
It is clear, when we truly look into the best things in life and money, that they are indeed free. We may sometimes take for granted the items we have, which are free. We might not realize how important love, family, and friends are, but when we really analyze it, we know that indeed the best things in life are free.
