The ambitious district attorney who uses the trail as a stepping stone to the governor's mansion". A Time to Kill immerse itself into the intense emotions that are involved in hatred.
A time to kill was both dramatic and accurate in its deception of a small southern community. Throughout the movie is the presence of the, as an antagonistic force and blind hate that existed in the form of racism in Mississippi at the time. On the other hand, the NAACP's presence in opposition to the is significant, but its true nature and power was not shown; the movie focuses on the interracial relationship and irs impact in a southern society, in which equality is undefined.
