My Best Friend example essay topic

758 words
There are lots of unfair things happening around, I experienced my first unfair situation when I was in Hong Kong. I had a best friend named Iris, we were very close at that time. We always stay in each other's house, and go to shopping together every single time. Although we were that close, there still things that can separate us. I still remember what had happened that day very clearly, I don't think that I would ever forget that day. It was a normal school day.

I was wearing my normal school uniform like usual, but the most unfortunate thing happened that day. Iris lost her one hundred dollar bill, and she was very upset. I tried to comfort her with my tenderness, but she kept on crying. She seem to calm down a little after my "hard work".

After Iris dried her tears, she went to our mentor teacher, and reported that someone had stolen her money. My friend returned from outside after she talked to the teacher. She sat down at her assigned sit, and didn't talk to me at all. The teacher returned from outside after my friend, "Ka Yan, can you come out for a second?" My teacher called me out. I was surprised, but I wasn't worried at all. "Ka Yan, you know Iris lost a hundred dollars today, right?" My teacher asked softly.

"Yes, I was comforting her before". I replied. "She suspected that you are the one who stole her money". My teacher sighed", I know you very well, Iris and you are best friend, too. But she was thinking that you are the one who stole her money".

I was very upset, my heart shattered into pieces. "Even I know for sure that you didn't stole the money, but it still is my job to ask you". My teacher continued, "So, did you stole the money?" I can't hold my tears any longer, I cried. "No! I did not!" My teacher tried to comfort me, "It's okay, don't be upset". It was useless, I ran back to my classroom and cried.

All my friends rushed to my desk and asked me what happened, but Iris didn't even bother to look at all. I dried my eyes with a tissue that one of my friend gave me. I walked toward her desk, and stopped in front of her. "I thought we are best friends". My voice was shaking. "I thought so, too!

But my best friend stole my money!" She shouted. "No! I did not!" I shouted as loud as I can. "You got no prove!

How would accused me like that!"I know you got a hundred dollar bill in your wallet! That's my money!" She cried. "I bring a hundred dollar bill everyday, you should know that more than anyone else in this class!" I said desperately. There was a silence for I don't even recall how long, but the bell broke the silence. It was time for our math class, so everyone hurried back to their own assigned sit. I didn't speak a word the rest of the day.

The school bell for the end of the school day finally rung. I wait for the teacher to dismiss the class, then I walked to Iris' desk once again. "Hey you know what, I can't believe that you did this to me. Our friendship is over".

I said sadly. I didn't wait for her to reply, I left quietly. The next morning, Iris was waiting outside the classroom. I ignored her, and walked quickly to my assigned sit. "Ka Yan", a familiar voice. "I am sorry that I suspected you yesterday".

It was Iris. "I am so sorry". I look upon her, "well, I am sorry that you lost one of your best friend - me, forever!" I said coldly. Iris walked away disappointed ly.

That was our last sentence, and our friendship ended immediately. I never talk to Iris again after that day. That's my painful experience, so now I won't be so close to friends. I know that's nothing compare to the experiences of the slaves, but that made me learn furthermore about the lives of slaves.
