My Children In A Way example essay topic

630 words
When I gave birth to my children I thought I had gone through the toughest part of having children. When anyone talks about having children, they always talk about the pain of childbirth. What they failed to mention is how hard it is to raise them correctly. Not everyone has the same methods on raising children, so finding the perfect way to raise them is almost impossible. What they also forgot to mention is that raising children is harder, tougher, and extremely more complicated than childbirth could ever imagine. My method of raising my children may seem strange to some people, but for me it works.

These steps are not all that it will take to raise my children, after all my children are still young. There will be many more steps along the road of life. But for now this is the best way I know how. The first step I use in raising my children is to make sure they know how much I love them.

I grew up not really believing that I was loved, so as an adult I promised my children, and myself that they would never wonder. My children will always know that they are loved, and to make sure of that, I tell them every day. I also try to show them how much I love them in my actions. My next step is to try to make sure that I provide everything they need to survive in life. Not only the material things, but also the emotional support that they might need to make themselves feel loved and safe in the world around them. I have tried to show them that I would do, say, or give up anything and everything for their safety and well being.

No matter what happens in life, I want them to know that they can come to me with anything and I will still be there for them. Trust is another step in raising my children. I want my children to be able to trust me as much as I will trus them. Without trust you can t go far in any relationship.

That includes the relationship between parents and children. My hope is that by always talking with them about honesty and trust, they will remain honest to themselves and to the people around them. With trust no matter how hard you try; sometimes it can be broken. Forgiveness is part of trust, and there is nothing my children can do that I wouldn t forgive them for. I want my children to always know that my love for them is stronger than life itself. Now I know that these steps are not all the steps that it will take to raise my children properly.

I won t know all the difficulties in raising till my children get older. All my children are under 10 so I have a lot to learn on raising children. My plan is to make sure that no matter what happens in life, that they are loved, cared for, provided for, and will always be the most important people in my life. I will do my best raising them by showing them what is right and what is wrong. I will support them in their decisions, and I will trust them to make the best decisions for them. My hope is that I will raise my children in a way that they can make a good and happy life for themselves.

My way may not be the best way, but it is the only way I know how..
